Chrissy Teigen’s NYC Book Signing

Chrissy Teigen knows how to throw a book signing.

Last night, I was lucky enough to be able to attend Chrissy Teigen’s NYC book signing for her New York Time’s #1 Best Selling cookbook, “Cravings”. The event was hosted by Samsung at their amazing location at 837 Washington Street. This was the most glamour book signing I have ever been too (not that I’ve been to many). We had access to everything from complimentary booze to virtual reality simulators provided by Samsung. There was a Frito Pie Bar (recipe on page 148) and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gardetto’s (page 129) being passed around. It was fancy to say the least.

I was really nervous to meet Chrissy. I’ve always imagined her to be as awesome as she appears to be and I did not want to be let down if she actually sucked. Well guess what guys, she doesn’t suck. She has to be one of the most genuine people I’ve ever gotten to meet and even more beautiful in person than in photos (not possible, I know. But she is.) She took photos with the 100 of us that were there, while standing, smiling and being 7 1/2 months pregnant. TROOPER.

Her cookbook just surpassed Harry Potter on Amazon for the #1 spot and is a #1 New York Times Best Seller, so I suggest you go buy yourself a copy while they’re still around. I’ll be posting some of her recipes on the blog this week because they’re oh so good to not share with you.

Oh yeah and John Legend showed up.

The NYC signing at @837NYC was freaking. Epic. If you were there, I know you’d agree!! I’ve never seen a book signing with an open bar of all my drink recipes, frito pies and chicken satays and virtual reality and a tunnel where your entire Instagram life flashes before your eyes. It was insane. Thank you to everyone who came out!! Now I must go into hiding for a little bit to properly incubate and give this little thing a break but what a whirlwind it has been. I couldn’t wish for more right now. Please still tag me in your photos making the recipes, tell me when you love/hate something, ask me anything. I love you guys. Thank you for making these last few months so special and now I promise to slowly get off your gossip sites and televisions because you have to be so annoyed with me! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    1. It was great! Even 7 1/2 months pregnant she’s still perfect and so cute and I mean John Legend is a looker himself 😉

  1. It is so refreshing to hear when celebs are actually cool in real life. I work with wealthy people (including celebs) and its always interesting to see how they interact with/treat people. I know everyone can have good and bad days so I don’t try to judge, but there are a few celebs I have met that are nightmares and some that are really really down to earth. It looks like you had a great time! I really want to try and go to a few of these sooner than later 🙂

    1. She lived up to all my expectations! She is beautiful and witty and so genuine. Really was delightful meeting her
