Try These Ways to Use Leftover Wine

On rare occasions you end up with leftover wine.

I know, I know on SUPER rare occasions, but it does happen sometimes. So, what are you supposed to do with it? It’s sacrilege to pour it down the drain and you can’t let it go bad, so what do you do?

Well worry no more my grape loving friends, I have come up with several ways to use up that wine and make it into something even better.

Popsicles are easily my favorite summer treat. Adult popsicles are even better. I scored this great recipe from Endless Summer and it’ll help you use up any leftover Port you have. See the recipe here.

Face mask

Last week I posted three different face masks you can make with leftover red wine. Wine is full of antioxidants and resveratrol, which is known to be great for your skin. Drink some wine and treat your skin to a little treat. It’s the perfect combination.

Ice cream and Sorbet

I don’t need to say too much about this one. Just check out this video from Tasty.

Freeze it

This is probably the most genius way to use leftover wine. Freeze it into perfect little wine ice cubes. These little guys have endless possibilities. You can put them in a sauce, or to deglaze a pan, in sangria and mimosas. You can also just smash these up a little and make a grenada. Simply pour your leftover wine into an ice cube tray and freeze. You can use red or white for these.

anddd that’s all I’ve got. I hope you never have leftover wine, but now you can do something with if you do! Cheers.
